Who we are

Greenwood Wellness is led by Kia. Her desire is to promote a supportive and collaborative environment for each patient in their unique health journey. This approach to wellness leads to relationships built on trust, and lasting bonds with her patients.

Kia earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Calvin College, MI. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing and her Practitioner Certification from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. While her Nurse Practitioner specialization was in pediatrics, she has taken multiple training courses through Evexias Health Solutions which includes certifications in medical weight loss, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and peptide therapy.

Kia is also certified through AMET (Aesthetic Medical Educational Training) in Botox and dermal fillers. Her clinical journey spans from crisis relief healthcare in multiple East African countries to specialty care in urology and neurosurgery. She also spent time as an Affiliate faculty instructor in the School of Nursing at Colorado Christian University.

When she is not in the office, Kia enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three sons. She loves taking advantage of the beautiful Colorado outdoors, traveling, baking, as well as long walks with the family black lab.
